I can't even begin to explain how amazing Melanie's work was on my wedding day. As a bride, you can only hope for the best with the inspo photos that you give your MUA and hair stylist but with no exaggeration, Melanie made me look better than the inspo I showed her 😭 My makeup stayed throughout the day and night, despite all the crying. My hair was perfect up until the next day, and I got so many compliments on it even from people who saw me from across the venue. I highly recommend Melanie, and she did so amazing on my bridesmaids and family members as well. I would 100% relive my experience with her during my getting ready session.
If you're looking for someone to glam you up, choose Melanie! Not only is she professional, but she's so kind and friendly also. I have had severe eczema my whole life, and when Melanie was done with my trial you wouldn't have even noticed. Not only that, but she gave me so much advice leading all the way up to my wedding day. She has great communication and timing. The day of the wedding, I wanted to change the look from the trial (more soft glam instead of natural). I barely gave Mel any direction and fully trusted her, and she killed it! I have never felt more beautiful or confident, and it's because of Mel! And yes, she did all my bridesmaids and mom too! We all HIGHLY recommend Melanie for ANY occasion. Thank you, Mel!
I’ve been following Melanie since 2017 and I knew since then that I wanted her as my HMUA for my wedding. Fast forward to 2026, that dream came true! Melanie is super professional yet super easy to talk to and get along with. I had some changes down the line and she was able to accommodate. She made me feel super at ease during my trial and day-of. I highly recommend booking her as early as you can because she is booked and busy! 🥰
A late review, but much needed. Melanie was AMAZING! From my trial, in between, to day of my wedding. She listened, gave feedback and recommendations when it came to my eye shape and skin tone, but most importantly, she was much more than just makeup artist. Idk how many artists would call their brides before their wedding bc they know their bride is anxious and stressing. Melanie did! We were on the phone for about 30 mins and she was just calming me down, talking me thru more than just timelines but what scenarios she’s been through and what to think about. She’s so personable and loving and I feel that’s so much more important than just a transactional relationship. Back to makeup tho! Day of, she KILLED it!! She was quick, but the looks were so beautiful and lasted ALL DAY AND NIGHT! She also got along so well with my family and made all my girls so comfortable. Melanie, thank you so much, sis!!! For everything!!
Melanie did an incredible job with my hair and makeup. I kept it pretty simple - messy updo with soft matte glam that included a soft smoky eye. She did better than I was even expecting! I actually gasped a bit when I saw the final product because I usually don’t wear much makeup and didn’t want to look “different” but she nailed it perfectly. I felt beautiful and HOT. The trial was also much needed so I can see how my makeup lasted (I get oily easily) and she adjusted for the day of.
She is also a friendly, professional, great person to talk to and made the session itself very enjoyable.

I want to start by saying that Melanie is such an amazing person.
From the very beginning, she was quick with communication and went above and beyond by coordinating directly with my hairstylist to plan the hair and makeup schedule for the morning of my wedding. She even helped coordinate both my makeup and hair trials!
I absolutely loved my makeup trial, and right then I knew Melanie was going to kill it for my bridal makeup. On the morning of the wedding, she arrived on time and brought such positive, calming energy. A huge plus is that she is Vietnamese and was able to communicate with my mom in Vietnamese, which I truly appreciated. She also helped me stay calm while so many people were coming in and out of the room, and somehow made everything feel manageable.
And of course, the makeup speaks for itself! She made me look beautiful and, more importantly, feel beautiful on my special day. My make up STAYED ON through tears, smiles, laughs, screams, wind, food, drinks, everything!

Mel is super kind and has gentle hands. I hired her as my bridal makeup artist/hairstylist because I heard great things about her from my cousin Jamie. She also did my courthouse ceremony Hair/Makeup and everyone complimented me and let tell you the Hair/Makeup does not move at all. During my wedding day on 12/13/2025, I only need to touch up my lipstick and mind you I wore my makeup starting at 4:30AM and my wedding didn't end until 1 am next day. My mom and my aunties loved her soo much! They were saying her hands are soo gentle when applying their makeup on them. 💕 Mel you were for sure the MVP!!!
Melanie is so sweet and brings such good energy. We originally did a trial for a messy updo, but a couple of days before my event I changed my mind and wanted something more polished. I sent her inspiration photos and we talked through the new vision. On the day of, I was a little nervous because of the last-minute change—but she absolutely nailed it and blew my socks off! She made me feel amazing, and I didn’t want to take my hair down at the end of the night.
My best friend hired Melanie for her destination wedding and she truly went above and beyond! She made the bride and all the ladies look absolutely flawless! She knows how to work with everyone’s unique style and is so talented. She even got the best pictures and content. Literal MVP! ✨😆
There’s not enough words to describe Melanie and her talent! I have a few friends who have booked with Melanie in the past so when it was finally time for my wedding I knew exactly who I wanted to book! I first booked her for my city hall wedding and loved how I looked soooo much that I had to have her for my destination wedding in Cancun too! Melanie truly becomes your instant friend from the moment she walks through the door! The first time I sat in her chair, it was like we’ve been friends for years and we just clicked over life, our kids, and just laughing over random things! My hair and makeup came out so good and flawless that I asked her to travel all the way in Cancun to do my hair and makeup again! Not only did she become friends with all my bridesmaids and my mom, she was my instant moral support person. The minute I sat down in her chair, the nerves of my big day hit me! Every time someone would ask me a question, I literally couldn’t even think so she would answer for me and told everyone to ask her their questions instead of me! She truly felt my energy and knew exactly what I needed! Her amazing personality aside, her work is absolutely stunning! I have never felt more beautiful and all my bridesmaids loved their makeup too. She knows exactly how to take your own personal makeup style and elevate it! She is not only there as a vendor for hair and makeup, she is there as someone who will truly be on your team and on your side! I have nothing but the best things to say about Melanie! I found Melanie on Instagram and was so impressed with her portfolio that I decided to go with her for my hair and makeup for my big day, and also did a makeup trial. From the moment I reached out to her to inquire about pricing and availability to follow ups for both appointments, she’s been incredibly responsive. For my trial, I went with a soft glam because I thought that was what I wanted. It was my first time meeting her but it felt like I had known her forever. Super chill and laid back. However, after my makeup trial, I found my dress (a black dress) and decided that the soft glam look would not go with my dress and vision so I messaged her right away and sent her some inspo for my new look: full glam! She was excited for the change! I came in for my hair and makeup, and the end result was jaw-dropping! I’m not one to really get dolled up, but by the end of the night, I did even want to take my hair and makeup off because it was beautifully done. I had gotten so many compliments and they definitely noticed her talents! I would highly recommend Melanie and will be back in the event that I need my hair and makeup done for special events!!
I had the honor of having Mel do my makeup, my bridal party and my MIL for my wedding in July 2025. She did not disappoint! My makeup lasted through all of the tears (I’m a big old crybaby, lol). She is so down to earth and super quick! She did all 9 of us! I also love that she included a little kit for touch ups. She delivered! I will be going to her for any future events :) love her!
Melanie is the absolute best. She helped calm me and my anxious energy all while making me look fabulous. She was so fun to talk and hang with the morning of, I felt like she was another sister. Her and her assistance did my hair and makeup + 4 bridesmaids and 1 jr bridesmaid. My mom got her makeup done and I had my 2 flowers girls get their hair done. Everyone looked and felt great, hair and makeup lasted all night…even the crazy kids! Highly recommend booking Melanie, you will be in great hands! I am so excited to get my photos back but here are a few I have so far. She kept me looking like myself, just a little nicer version. We all had such a great time with her, so sad it is all over!
Melanie is top notch. I booked her over a year in advance for my May 2025 wedding and everything was seamless from communication to trial day to wedding day, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to oversee my glam and she DELIVERED. I’ve never felt more beautiful in my entire life. My makeup and hair lasted over 12 hours! Melanie also provided a touch up kit with all the essentials you would need to keep your makeup fresh and long lasting. She’s punctual, efficient, and thorough with her work while also being so easy to talk to and fun! She also worked on 4 bridesmaids/1 bridesman, 4 groomsmen, 2 moms, and my husband (who was also feeling himself with makeup). Men’s makeup is 100% worth it and shows amazingly in photos. So glad we got the recommendation from Melanie! Despite the number of us she worked on that day, we finished over an hour and a half early! If you want quality work with efficiency, Melanie is your girl! I look forward to booking with Melanie again in the future!
