  Dream Wedding

  Melanie made me feel so beautiful and confident the day of my wedding! During our trial I had told her that I want to just highlight my natural features with soft glam and she did exactly that. My eyelashes are naturally long but I wanted them to pop with natural looking falsies and she aced that request. The makeup lasted several episodes of tears and stayed intact the entire might! My hair was perfect and did not move or deflate all night!! She was even able to do my maid of honor’s hair last minute as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to feel their absolute best on their wedding day!

  Melanie is THE BEST!!

  My daughter hired Melanie to do hair for herself and her wedding party on the day of her wedding. She was absolutely amazing! She was very punctual and came fully prepared with everything that was needed to create gorgeous hairstyles. I was unsure about what I wanted to do with my hair (it's been years since I've had it professionally styled) and Melanie had the perfect suggestion. She create a style that was elegant and just perfect for me. Her calm and friendly demeanor put everyone at ease and brought such great energy to the morning. Everything was finished on time (in fact, she finished a little early which gave everyone a little extra time and was very appreciated) and everyone's hair looked GORGEOUS! And it didn't just look great when she finished, but it looked beautiful through the entire event. The most important thing, however, is that the bride looked and felt beautiful. As the mother of the bride, that was what mattered most to me. Thank you Melanie!! If you are looking for a bridal hair/makeup stylist, I can't recommend Melanie enough! We loved her so much that my other daughter has already booked her for her wedding in September. :-)

  Love Melanie!!!

  Where do I start?! Melanie is just so amazing to work with. She comes in with great energy and makes you feel calm in the chaos of the day. She did an amazing job on my and my families hair the day of the wedding. I was so nervous to have my mom’s hair done because she doesn’t usually get her hair done and she’s particular about how she looks. From the moment my mom sat in the chair with Melanie to the moment her hair was done, she was so calm and at ease. Melanie took the time to listen to all of us and she made us all feel at ease. I only wish I didn’t have so many people the day of and could have booked her for makeup as well! I have a newlywed shoot coming up and I hope to be able to book for her this as well!

  Omg, where do I start?!? From our trial, I felt like Melanie knew exactly what I was looking for and she nailed it. I felt comfortable to share what I liked and didn’t like in order to make sure my day-of makeup was exactly what I wanted. Come my wedding day and the experience was perfect. She scheduled everything perfectly, and even had time to do two additional services for my mom and my sister in law. Everyone was delighted with their services! The makeup lasted through sweat, laughs, LOTS of tears, and even rain.

  I can't thank my friend enough for the incredible job she did with my hair and makeup! Melanie was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I’ve never felt more beautiful and confident!   Melanie is God sent and you won't regret it!

  TLDR: Melanies work is amazing! If you want natural look, she's your girl! She's sweet, personable, and professional. If you don't like your trial or how it looks, speak up so she can fix it. She was on time and quick and make up stayed for the whole day! I promise youll find a new best friend when you meet Melanie and not a moment of awkwardness. You won't regret it!
  
  Long version: found Melanie on IG after not being happy with my first make up trial with another. Melanie has been on my radar because she's done make up for someone I know and it looks AMAZING! I set up my make up trial and just connected with Melanie. She is full of energy, straight to the point, and just so fun to talk to. If something doesn't look good on you, she will tell you and help you get the look you need. She told me to get facials to make sure my make up look extra good on my big day and I am so glad I did! She communicated with me even before the wedding and answered all the questions I had that.
  
  On the day of the wedding, she arrived on time and got started right away. She worked on my mom first and my mom was indecisive what she wanted or wanted something that wouldn't work with her face, but Melanie assured her that she'll make her look beautiful. She worked with my mom on the lip color she wanted and was super patient. My mom was on the phone with multiple people at the time and I would tell her to get off the phone, but Melanie was super chilled and said it's totally fine, do what you need to do. She made both of us and the hair stylist that was there super comfortable and liven up the room. My mom, who doesn't speak English much, was able to talk to Melanie as if they've been friends for a while and that made me happy.
  
  After taking Melanie's advice to do facials, it really made a difference when she put on the make up. My face was SO DEWY AND GLOWING ! She made me feel so beautiful and confident that day. My husband is very picky with make up but he had no complaints. 😊 I received so many compliments on how good and natural my make up looked. Because Melanie is such an amazing and thoughtful person, SHE PREPARED A LITTLE CARE PACKAGE! It had the lip stick i needed to touch up, matting powder, medicine, and even a little pad to apply it.
  
  Melanie, thank you for being such a down to Earth person and an amazing make up artist! You will be my go to MUA! I am hooked on Melanie for life! Keep being amazing super woman!

  NEVER FELT MORE BEAUTIFUL IN MY LIFE!!!

  So let me just start of by saying that even before reviewing the makeup, Melanie is just a cool person that you can easily vibe with! To me, it was super important that I booked vendors that didn't just provide great service but also great customer service too. After meeting Melanie for the first time in my trial seat, I insistently felt comfortable talking to her and I think that's also important because you're going to need to feel comfortable telling your artist what you do or don't like too!!
  
  So now for the makeup, I did do a trial and it was pretty last minute (my fault for not reaching out to book in advance) about two weeks before the actual wedding. I had a specific style and inspo that I took from her page. She tested out and did exactly what I asked her too. And I'm glad for it because even while I felt pretty after my trial, it helped me realize that those ideas I tested, wasn't for me. So come the day of the wedding, I told her my suggestions and without hesitation she just new exactly what I meant, how to do it, and honestly what would work and look best for my features and overall look.
  
  She came on time of the day of (at like 5:40am) and did my makeup, 3 bridesmaids and 2 moms! She was fast and efficient (we ended early) but everything came out soo good. Even my mom liked her makeup and she's a transitional filipino mom who would likely complain about something LOL.

  JUST BOOK HER!

  I found Melanie through mutual friends and Instagram. She was tagged in many of my high school friends’ posts from their weddings, and I knew instantly that I needed to check out her website and profile after seeing their photos!
  
  I inquired through her website, and she contacted me right away to schedule a trial. Meeting her at the trial was so much fun! Her personality and vibe are so uplifting that she instantly puts you at ease, especially for someone like me who wears very minimal makeup. I told her I wanted a soft glam look, and she absolutely delivered. She did not want me leaving until I felt my best.
  
  Fast forward to the wedding day—Melanie came to my hotel room super early in the morning and set the perfect tone for the day for me and my girls. She is so personable, and I can’t say enough about how calming and fun she makes the experience. She made me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my MIL feel our absolute best, and I can’t thank her enough for her presence on the morning of my wedding.
  I started hair and makeup at 5 a.m., and by 11 p.m., my hair and makeup still looked just as flawless as it did that morning! We all received so many compliments on our hair and makeup and were in awe of how it stayed looking fresh all day long.
  
  When you book with Melanie, you’re booking someone who is truly passionate about her craft and absolutely loves what she does—you can’t ask for better than that. My cousin has already booked her for her wedding next year, and I can’t wait to see her again!

  Didn’t have to change a thing.

  I should’ve written a review for Melanie when I met her 2 years ago, but from what I remember, she did my makeup so well! Every time I get my makeup done, I always have to wipe something off or add makeup to get the look I want. With Melanie, I didn’t have to change a thing! I loved my look so much - makeup style and colors used. She was the first makeup artist who understood my features, skin tone, and angles to make me feel my best.

  Loved my wedding glam

  Wedding Hairstylist turned Family

  From the beginning Melanie has been so kind and fun to work with. She’s honest, prompt and efficient. The first time meeting her she knew instantly what to do with my hair. I was really shy of what to do with my hair but she read my mind and envisioned my hair with my wedding gown! You can tell she knows what she’s doing and loves doing as well. I was able to talk to her like she was family and on the day of my Wedding it was the same thing. My bridesmaids and I loved her energy and she was able to do 7 girls within 5 hours. That’s CRAZY. All of our hair stayed in place from morning til the next day. I did a few dances for my wedding that would've have affected my updo but my hair did not move AT ALL.   Melanie is amazing!! I am a 2024 bride and she made me feel SO beautiful.   There’s no one else you need

  Melanie is seriously the best! I’ve been following her instagram for years and I knew she would be the one to do my wedding hair and make up. I’m a last minute bride so I was so worried that she was all booked up but luckily she was available!
  
  She did my hair and make up for my engagement shoot as a trial and I fell in love with her style and the soft glam look she gave me!
  
  For my wedding day, we started at 5am and that gave me enough time to relax before the photographers came. Since we started so early I asked if she can really solidify my make up and my hair… and let me tell you!!! My make up was looking really good (minus the usual fade away) by 11pm and my hair?? Didn’t even move!!! That’s 16 hours can you believe that?? She made me feel so pretty and it made me feel so good on my wedding day! And when a bride looks good, she feels good!
  
  She’s also the sweetest person and has the best personality and is so fun! You’ll never have a dull moment in her chair! Book with her because you don’t need another HMU artist in your life!!
