  The most beautiful I've ever felt

  First off, Melanie is such a beautiful person inside and out. She noticed the weight of the day was starting to hit me and I’m so thankful that she was there to help me get over my nerves and center me before the day started. Truly a woman you want to start your wedding day with! Melanie’s work is not something you come across often. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is the most beautiful I’ve ever looked or felt. I don’t know much about hair and makeup but despite that, Melanie knew exactly how to make me look AMAZING for my big day—both in-person and in photos (especially in SF City Hall). She is a trooper for arriving at 5am and finishing up exactly on time to give me time to relax before getting ready. I am constantly looking at my wedding photos because I cannot believe that I looked like that!! I highly recommend her to everyone and anyone who wants to feel glamorous and cared for.   One of The Best Vendors & Part of My Day!

  I don't know how I'm going to be able to put into words how amazing Melanie is not only as a person, but also as a professional! She had great communication from the time I reached out with an inquiry, all the way till she left me feeling my best right before the big moment. I opted to do the hair trial, which helped both her and I immensely know how my hair was going to act throughout the day, and I'm so glad I did! She was able to see if the curls needed to be tighter/looser and that was a concern for me as I permanently straightened my hair at the salon earlier that year.
  
  On the day of, she had done my bridesmaid makeup flawlessly, but also mines as well! I have never felt as beautiful and the makeup held up throughout the entire night even through all the crying. On top of it all, her and I had amazing conversations as if I'd known her for a long time both during the trial and onto the day of. I can't recommend Melanie enough! She was hands down on of my favorite vendors of the day, and if you're hesitating to reach out, don't! She'll nail it and then some. Thank you again Melanie for all that you did! Love you girlie!

  Everything I wanted and more

  Melanie is absolutely the BEST! From flawless pictures to amazing reviews from her clients, I just knew she'd be the one to do my makeup for my wedding one day. The moment I got engaged, I emailed her right away for my wedding date. She is definitely in high demand and luckily I was able to book her. I was so excited and happy! She was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. I booked her for a total of 11 girls, including myself. When I did my makeup trial, I showed her some pictures I had in mind and she knew exactly was I was going for. It made me feel more confident and excited about the big day. Her and her assistant Meliza arrived on time. She was able to get through everyone in a timely manner and made everyone look beautiful! Everyone loved how their makeup turned out.

  Life Saver & Amazing!

  First off, I want to say that Melanie was my life saver for my wedding. My original makeup and hair artist ended up getting Covid 5 days before my wedding. My MOH and sister went looking for a replacement and found Melanie. They explained my situation to Melanie and Melanie went above and beyond. She moved some appointments to help accommodate a last minute makeup/hair trial with me and traveling to my home to do it. Plus, was able to make my wedding day work with her busy schedule and with such a last minute request.
  
  Melanie's work was amazing! She makes you feel comfortable while she works her magic and I loved the conversations we we had which made me forget about my nervousness for the wedding. Melanie made me feel like most beautiful bride. I HIGHLY recommend Melanie and hope to use her again in the future....cough cough...maternity shoot maybe. ;)

  SO AMAZING

  I wanted to get super glammed up for my 1 year anniversary and do not regret booking with Melanie. She was so easy to coordinate with over email and made me feel like a queen the day of the event.   The best of the best!

  I first contact Melanie early 2020, before everything shut down. But when things finally started opening back up in 2021, I contacted her again about our new dates and every single interaction I had with her was ALWAYS so friendly, professional, and accommodating. When we did a trial run of my hair and make up about two months before the wedding, I KNEW I had picked the right person. Melanie is so calming, extremely positive, and really just made me feel so damn beautiful. The whole glam turned out amazing. I had asked for a more romantic take on a full glam and she knew exactly what I meant. She took all my inspo photos, looked at my dress, and talked with me about my visions and gave her input where she needed to, and I can't thank her enough for being so collaborative throughout the whole process. The day of the wedding, my bridesmaids were all raving about her too, saying that if/when they get married they'd definitely be hitting her up. As you should! Going with Melanie will mean you're in the best hands, and you will feel SO special on your big day thanks to her magic. :)

  Pure talent!

  Where do I even start with how amazing Melanie is! I remember looking her up on instagram and instantly falling in love with her work! The way her brides makeup looked natural and like they were GLOWING really stood out to me. I knew within seconds that’s exactly how I wanted to look on my special day. A few months after booking her we scheduled a hair and makeup trail and it was such a fun experience. I remember being nervous and taking my sister but all those nerves quickly went away the second we started talking. Melanie is seriously the funnest and sweetest girl, she made me feel and look so beautiful. Flash forward to the big day... after she completed my look.   Slayed by Melanie

  I was so calm all morning because I knew I was in such great hands. My makeup looked great all day and night long with no touch up. When Mel told me that her make up will last until the next day, she didn’t lie. Our wedding is in Walnut Creek and it was an outside ceremony with almost 100 degrees weather but my make up still looked flawless until the end of our reception. I can't recommend Mel enough. Not only she is so talented at her craft and you can tell she really loves what she does, but she really made me feel like Beyonce that day. She had my back during the most awkward moment. She has a beautiful soul and her work really reflects that. If you're thinking of booking Mel, act quick before she gets booked up! She will be my go-to for everything!

  Melanie does wonders!

  Melanie is absolutely amazing! I contacted her about a year ago for my wedding. She was easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had. I went ahead and booked her for my make up trial for engagement shoot too and loved the look. She knew not to over do it for the shoot and save the glitz n' glam for wedding day. And I couldn't agree more. She made me look GOOD! A month before the wedding I had a couple changes and questions and she was super nice and accommodating. There were 6 of us in total to get hair and make up done. Melanie had a second person, Cathleen, to help her out on the day of the wedding and both did an amazing job. We started at 5am and finished by 8/8:30am with plenty of time to spare. I had asked about touch up make up but she said no need and was confident that her make up stays all day long. It has been tested! My make up lasted all day and night! Everyone commented on how well the make up looked that day and I've never felt more beautiful. Thank you Melanie!!

  Melanie is amazing!!!

  I don’t know where to even begin because Melanie is absolutely amazing!!! I have been following Melanie’s Instagram for a few years now and knew that I would contact her when I was going to get married... she was definitely one of the first few vendors I contacted! Melanie is so sweet and made all of us feel so comfortable! In regards to Melanie’s work, she is magical!!! I told her that I wanted natural looks for all my events and she did just that and I received a ton of compliments! Not only is her work amazing but it really lasts all day!!!   So talented!

  Melanie was so awesome! Morning of the big wedding day, Melanie showed up at our hotel room right on time. She did my hair and makeup along with three bridesmaids and my mothers make up. We all needed to be ready by 10am and she made it happen. I couldn't believe how much she can do in such a short time. She was very understanding and accommodating of our tight schedule that morning. I wanted something a little more than just neutral plus no shimmer and she worked her magic! My hair and make up literally held up from 9:30am until 1am, which is so crazy but of course in a good way. I loved it so much it was so sad washing it all away.   She works MAGIC!!

  As soon as I set a wedding date I knew I wanted Melanie to do my hair and makeup. Booking her for my wedding day was one of the best decisions I made. She was super professional and fun and made me feel at ease the entire morning. When it came to how I wanted my hair and makeup I really just trusted her and I am so glad I did!   Book Melanie for your wedding!

  Trust me! You won’t disappoint! I have done and seen makeup on people and clients, and I can truly say my overall experience with Melanie was absolutely great, from our trial to my big day! I found Melanie on IG and hired her my hair and makeup. I told her my style and type of look and she delivered! I thought I was a perfectionist, but so is Melanie. :D She’s not going to leave you until you feel 100% ready to walk down that aisle. And I was ready 5 hours before my I do! My make up and hair lasted all day and all night! I usually sweat around my face and I would have to reapply my makeup but on this day, my face beat by Melanie, I didn’t have to reapply anything. I only had to blot my sweat away bc I was dancing all day. And when I look back at my photos, all my makeup was still there and my hair still intact. Let’s just say I had to deep scrub my makeup off at the end of the night. To top it off, her makeup products were safe and I didn’t have any skin reaction(s). I received so many nice compliments from my guests - my make-up look still looks like me, and no clown business! Melanie enhanced and beautified my features!   The Beauty Gem of the Bay Area

  There are not enough words to explain how amazing Melanie is. From the moment she walked through the door, her energy was calming and I knew that myself, my bridesmaids & mother were in the best hands. From excited tears, to tears of missing my passed father the day of my wedding, the makeup held through~ maybe even looked better by the end of the night!! And don't even get me started on what a phenomenal job she did on my hair. With the help of some extensions, I truly felt that her work made me look and feel like a queen.

  The Best of the Best!!

  Melanie is the best of the best! I hired her to do our wedding party hair and makeup. She's very professional and punctual! She's very efficient as we got done way ahead of time! The wedding party was able to relax and do other things before the ceremony. She was so sweet, she was able to squeeze in a hair-do for one of the flower girls, and still got done early:) Everyone was gorgeous and we received compliments all day! She made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. My make-up stayed on all through the tears!! She's super sweet and made sure she meets our expectations while at the same time giving her professional advise. I will definitely hire Melanie again for all our future events!!
