  Great service

We called Steve when our air conditioner coils froze up. He scheduled us for the next morning. In the meantime he gave us tips over the phone to troubleshoot the issue. What he talked us through over the phone solved our issue! We definitely will use him again!!

  Tire blowout damage

After having an RV tire blow out on our vacation, we kept discovering more damage caused by the blow out. When we got to East Tawas State Park, Mobile RV Tech Services had an ad in some of their literature and since Steve was willing to come to us, we jumped at the chance to have some repairs made. Steve was kind enough to come to our campsite in the evening (about 6:30p) since he had a busy day the next day. He explained to us what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it. He took a lot of photos and prepared an in-depth report for us. His rates were reasonable as were the costs of the parts. We highly recommend Steve and Mobile RV Tech Services.

  1 Star Review

Please read all of this review, because this RV Technician deserves the praise for saving me thousands of dollars!
I recently had a $5,000 RV service done and a generator re build, and still had several issues. The company I went to claimed I needed a new air conditioner and new batteries. I had the new batteries installed but held off on the new A/C for now because of the expense after the service. After a weekend trip the inverter went out.

I was tired of waiting weeks to get it looked at, only to be told I would need to replace something.
So, I went to Steve because he was highly recommended from people in the mid Michigan area. Within the first hour he determined the batteries were wired incorrectly and fix the issue and diagnosed the inverter. The inverter immediately switched back on since it was having low voltage issues and went into safe mode. Steve diagnosed the problem with the A/C being a capacitor issue, which he quickly fixed and replaced all of the capacitors.

Steve also took the time to explain how to work EVERYTHING on the RV so I would not run into some Issues in the future (which I really appreciated).
So Steve and his lovely wife Erika literally saved us thousands of dollars in a short few hours because he is a technician and just doesn’t default to “replace everything,” he fixed everything that he could!

Steve and his wife are fantastic people and I will be certain to seek them out anytime I need service.
Yes this review is long, because people who help you out and don’t try a gouge you deserve you taking a few moments to compliment excellent service, which we received.

Before you go to a big RV service center I highly recommend Mobile RV Tech Services and get Steve and Erika to come and work on your RV!

  Someone to count on

Excellent communication and service! The experience starts with a prompt reply from the company after filing a service report online and this is followed by a phone call from Steve. He sends a text the date of service with a picture of himself so you can be sure who is arriving. He came when he saide he'd be there and he called after he diagnosed the problem since I was not onsite. He then sent a follow up invoice AND a service report with pictures! I just enjoyed a weekend at my camper with a now fully functioning water heater. Now I know someone to count on when something goes wrong with my camper.

  Nary a Better Option Exists!

If I could give negative 4 stars, I would do so*** because: + He is only in my area for part of the year
+ Not a single other person has showed up to help with the urgency, kindness, expertise, and patience that Steve has
+ Since he charged by the hour and not just by a specific task he came to resolve, I was able to also get his help with several small issues around the RV that I approach by myself with sheer ignorance
+ I literally would almost rather go the rest of the year leaving problems alone, however grave they be, until Steve returns to save the day!

*** This is what is called "sarcasm".

Reply from Mobile RV Tech Services

Thank you for the creative and humorous review! Your sarcasm gave me a good laugh. I'm glad I could assist you with the urgency, kindness, expertise, and patience you needed, even if I'm only around for part of the year. I truly appreciate your trust and look forward to helping you again next season!
