  I would 100% recommend surfing lessons with this group of instructors! They were SO kind, patient, and encouraging. I had no idea what to expect as a first time surfer, and they made it the best experience possible. I felt our group was perfectly sized; there weren’t to many people so I felt I got adequate teaching and was able to get up on some waves!

  They were awesome! I am a 17 yr old girl who went with my 14 yr old sister, mom, and dad this morning. We all had a lot of fun! They are super encouraging and supporting, I didn’t even stand up on my board until my last wave and they still were very patient with me. My advice is to not be afraid! Fear is what kept me and my mom from standing up. Just don’t look down, keep your eyes up. Also, when you’re trying to catch the wave put your knees down and don’t lie on your board, that was what finally helped me stand. The water is also pretty shallow so if you’re scared about one of your younger kids not gonna be able to swim here, don’t be. They also have life jackets. Again, super fun time and I really enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend to anybody who wants to learn the basics of surfing and wants try it out.

  I would remind Surfer Girl Academy to anyone who wants to try surfing. I have never tried surfing before, and Surfer Girl Academy instructors were patient, clear, caring, cheerful, and encouraging. My class started at 8a and we met with the instructor at 7:50a to get our equipment. The lesson was given at a small beach which feels like a private beach: quiet, calm, and not crowded. We put our belongings in the company white van(no locker needed!). The lesson started with a 15-20min step-by-step instruction on how to get on the board and also how to fall, and also to stand to ride the wave. Then we each were given a chance to try standing up on the board before heading to the water.The bilingual (Japanese and English) instructor was very helpful to adjust our stance if they spotted any error. After all of us tried standing on the board once, we went off to the ocean and swam out to catch the waves. The instructors work together as a team to help us each to try several times to ride the wave. It was super fun and I really appreciate how kind and patient each instructor was. I had a great experience and would love to try surfing again! Thanks Surfer Girls!!

  If you are looking for surfing lessons, look no more and book them. All the instructors are highly knowledgeable and accommodating. My boys(14/16) took a group lesson and loved them so much, they took 2 more exclusive lessons with Surf girl Academy. After the second lesson, they comfortably rode waves on their own. Conveniently located behind Hiltons and it took us 15min to walk from Sheratons.

  Had such a good time! Took my mom with me who was nervous to go and the staff made her and I feel so comfortable. They were very supportive and friendly and would highly recommend using their company. They were easy to learn from and they took great pictures that we were able to get at the end. A highlight of our trip so far!

  I loved my experience with Surfer Girl Academy!!! I am an adult and first time surfer. It was a blast. All the staff are so encouraging and supportive. They worked with me and gave me individualized tips to help me be more successful. I had so much fun! They even took pictures so i have something to take home.

  Amazing experience with the Surfer Girl team. We had a great time learning how how to surf from Angela, Shuji, and Yuko. Each one of us were able to catch multiple waves with their help and we even saw a few turtles and a seal.
  
  We also added the GoPro photos of the two hour lesson so we can show our fam and friends how we all surfed in Waikiki 🤙
