  I had such an awesome experience renting a boat from Rueben and his guys. My buddy Ross knew these guys and I didn't know what to expect, but it was such a blast and honestly I can't wait to do it again. We had a group of 6 and we rented a 2012 27ft. Sea Ray Sundancer. The boat was clean and in great working order. We were on the boat for about 7 hours or so, which sounds like a long time but it went by really quick. Make sure to bring plenty of water, food, towels, sunscreen, and of course music. I was able to practice steering the boat which was a lot of fun. Great for group adventures, dates, or any excuse possible. You'll feel like you went on vacation. Great staff and very accommodating. Looking forward to the next adventure with Captain Newport!

  I went Boating for my Bday the other day with my friends and i was so
  lucky to find this place and I was able to rent a very clean and nice
  boat! Had such an amazing time! The owner was so nice by welcoming me
  with a Birthday gift and the Staff was super awesome! I'd totally
  recommend this place to everyone and from now on I know where to go to
  get my rentals :)

Day trips down to emerald bay to long weekend Catalina trips. The boats are always very clean, in great working order and they are always in time for your departure and arrival back.   Reuben from Captain Newport was so amazing to work with. My husband and I
  were coming to LA to celebrate his birthday and wanted to rent a boat--
  I am so happy we found Reuben. He was so responsive to all of our
  questions (and believe me I have a lot) and really made this a first
  class boating experience that was wonderful and easy. My husband and I
  often rent boats and this was by far the cleanest, newest, and well kept
  boat- everything worked -- including music, refrigerator, toilet etc.
  The morning we rented the boat we got a text from one of  Reuben's
  employees confirming where the boat was located with the number of the
  person checking us in. Once we arrived at the dock, Bill was already
  there and showed us everything on the boat and gave us a rundown. It was
  quick and easy and we were cruising in no time. The whole team was so
  amazing to work with and really gave us quality service. We really felt
  like a guest on their boat and they really make an effort to make sure
  everything is perfect.
  I would highly recommend renting from Reuben
  for a first class experience. Only thing that would be better is if they
  opened a location on the east coast!

  After easy contact with Reuben Pasandi, I arranged for a 1/2 day rental of a Sea Ray Sundancer 27' cruiser out of Newport Beach.  Since I'm a relative newbie to boating I requested a sea-going guru to show me the ropes and take me and my wife out on our shakedown cruise.  Capt. Rick motored up to our take-off point right on time and after walking me through a pre-flight of the engine and other systems, and a review of safety procedures,  gave me the helm while keeping a watchful eye on our exiting the harbor.  And once we hit the open seas it was nothing but outstanding as we opened her up and headed south to Laguna, with a few check maneuvers on the way. I'm looking forward to my solo flight in the near future. Thanks guys.

  We rent the boat from Reuben. You can not ask for a better host. The
  boat was very clean and worked perfect. This is a very rare case where
  the picture actually shows the reality. So, yes, what you see in the
  pictures is what you will get.
  Reuben took the time to explain us everything regarding the boat and where should we go.
  We had an amazing experience and for sure we will come back to rent from him.

  My partner and I had a great experience with Rueben and his 2013 Sea
  Say! Rueben was prompt in replying and always offered great customer
  service and superb advice. He set us up with his colleague Bill and we
  received wonderful instruction on how to use the boat. They really made
  me feel like I was the captain of the boat - which I appreciated (and
  it impressed my partner... I asked her to call me captain for the rest
  of the day!) We saw Newport Harbor, Emerald Bay, and Laguna Beach. We
  set anchor in Emerald Bay and just soaked up the sun on the boat and
  swam in the ocean. Wonderful experience! I would highly recommend it
  and I would like to do it again.

  I have to say my experience with Reuben, the boat, and the friendly
  captain Chris who chartered the the boat were all excellent. I would
  highly recomend Reuben and any of his boats or boat drivers. The boat
  was in mint condition, and the driver couldn't have been a friendlier
  guy. Reuben was also there to greet me and my friends, and to make sure
  everything was to my liking before we went out into the water. I will
  be using his services again!!
