Good Evening Catalina Island from a Formula 330SS high speed boat
We rented a formula-330ss (for up-to-10-ppl) from Captain Newport for Fathers Day 2017. This was a super idea with super family and friends. This is the best option we found in class and luxury at a very decent price. They were very nice through the whole process of renting and after. They also got us a super super Captain Nikko Re from Blue Adventures. We had a 4 hour rental agreed upon and price, Captain Nikko went out of his way to make sure we achieve everything we planned, Including a visit on Catalina Island and sampling local food and beverages. He also gave us time on the boat for continuing our liquid nourishments. We ended extending our time at no charge as Captain Nikko gave us a lot of info on celebrity residents along the harbour, watching the sunset from our boat, taking pics, etc. Captain Nikko took drone photos and videos of our trip, just awesome and fantastic service by both Captain Nikko and Captain Newport Boat Rentals. 100% repeat is our plan. Highly recommend it. The boat was super clean, super fast and super duper overall. Thanks Captain Nikko and Captain Newport Boat Rentals.
Another amazing experience! We had such a great time the first time we rented through Captain Newport and couldn't wait to do it again. The service and amenities were again exceptional. Reuben (the owner) was great at helping us along the way with setting up our services and was available for contact throughout the entire process, which was greatly appreciated. A captain helped us with getting out of the dock and back in and was available throughout our cruise to assist us as needed. With the wonderful new memories created we can't wait to do it again!!
Captain Newport's boat was phenomenal! Large, clean, and FAST! Our Captain, Niko, was absolutely wonderful! He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, even taking us to Catalina Island! He also flew up his drone to take some fun pictures/videos! We would absolutely recommend anyone wanting a great time on the water to use his services. Thanks Niko, we hope to see you soon!
This was amazing! The people in charge of putting all this together they were truly outstanding. It was such a great experience and the Captain was 5 stars easy! They were on time, organized, and gave clear instructions on where to meet and at what time also gave us contact info to two people for any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this boat rental they blew it out of the water. Such a great time!

Wonderful trip, from start to finish. Definitely the best way to spend 4th of July with your family. The boat was nicely appointed and was able to accommodate our party of nine people. It was choppy and the conditions were rough outside the harbor so we stayed inside the harbor and dropped anchor to play games, fish and watch the fireworks. Excellent customer service and they made sure we had everything we needed and felt secure on the boat. Prompt, professional and courteous. We will definitely be back!
Niko was great! Extremely helpful and overall great experience!
Great experience and excellent customer service! Since we booked it until the end of our trip day, everything was just as described; they even accommodated us after having an issue with our dates. Will do it all over again for sure
Rueben and his team are the best! The boat was beautiful and the perfect size for our party. Captain David was so accommodating with our requests of where we wanted to go and the fireworks displays were out of this world, too many to count. It was the perfect 4th of July. If you are looking to rent a boat this summer, CALL RUEBEN! First class all the way!
Thumbs up! Very good!!!!
We had a great experience :-)
