Request a couponChartered the 330 for a birthday celebration, it was so much fun! Captain Niko (hope I've spelled that right!) really took care of us. We got to see Seals, go for a swim off the coast of a private beach, and overall just had a really good time. Will absolutely be booking again!
Looking to buy our own boat next year but no experience with 25+ foot boats and want to "get our sea legs". Actually tough to find places to rent nice family boats and found Capt Newport. Went out with Capt Rick the first time to learn docking, refueling, heading out to sea, some time in the ocean & back. Was a great trip and on a clean & only 2 year old boat. Very much recommend. Rick even took time to teach knot tying...
Will be back many times and look forward to a monthly boat outing (now capt-less) with my family... will give me 8+ hours a month of experience piloting a Sea Ray leading up to our own boat next year. Please do... you will like. And take great care of "our" boat :)

Good Evening Catalina Island from a Formula 330SS high speed boat.
We rented a formula-330ss (for up-to-10-ppl) from Captain Newport for Fathers Day 2017. This was a super idea with super family and friends. This is the best option we found in class and luxury at a very decent price. They were very nice through the whole process of renting and after. They also got us a super super Captain Nikko Re from Blue Adventures. We had a 4 hour rental agreed upon and price, Captain Nikko went out of his way to make sure we achieve everything we planned, Including a visit on Catalina Island and sampling local food and beverages. He also gave us time on the boat for continuing our liquid nourishments. We ended extending our time at no charge as Captain Nikko gave us a lot of info on celebrity residents along the harbour, watching the sunset from our boat, taking pics, etc. Captain Nikko took drone photos and videos of our trip, just awesome and fantastic service by both Captain Nikko and Captain Newport Boat Rentals. 100% repeat is our plan. Highly recommend it. The boat was super clean, super fast and super duper overall. Thanks Captain Nikko and Captain Newport Boat Rentals.
This was amazing! The people in charge of putting all this together they were truly outstanding. It was such a great experience and the Captain was 5 stars easy! They were on time, organized, and gave clear instructions on where to meet and at what time also gave us contact info to two people for any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this boat rental they blew it out of the water. Such a great time!

We took the 'Damn Donzi' out to Catalina for Memorial and had a great time! Captain Reuben was very knowledgeable and had a great selection of boats.

Reuben was great to work with, clean well maintained boats, great service. Harbor is beautiful but their boats give you the change to hit the open ocean and see more of the coast. Would give them two thumbs up!

Reuben from Captain Newport was so amazing to work with. My husband and I were coming to LA to celebrate his birthday and wanted to rent a boat-- I am so happy we found Reuben. He was so responsive to all of our questions (and believe me I have a lot) and really made this a first class boating experience that was wonderful and easy.
My husband and I often rent boats and this was by far the cleanest, newest, and well kept boat- everything worked -- including music, refrigerator, toilet etc. The morning we rented the boat we got a text from one of Reuben's employees confirming where the boat was located with the number of the person checking us in. Once we arrived at the dock, Bill was already there and showed us everything on the boat and gave us a rundown. It was quick and easy and we were cruising in no time. The whole team was so amazing to work with and really gave us quality service.
We really felt like a guest on their boat and they really make an effort to make sure everything is perfect. I would highly recommend renting from Reuben for a first class experience. Only thing that would be better is if they opened a location on the east coast!

Captain Newport was Great! Had so much fun in the water, I highly recommend going with captain Newport. Prices are a lot cheaper then everyone else! Captain Rick and Ruben were very helpful. Can't wait to be back in the water again!
