I almost never leave reviews but I was very impressed by the service and professionalism I received with Fix It Guy Appliance Repair. Our dryer broke and we needed a new motor and really appreciated the transparency, timeliness and communication we received with this company. Would very much recommend.
Robert W. is a consummate professional. He diagnosed the issue with our 15-year-old Amana refrigerator: freezer stopped freezing and the compressor needed to be replaced. He was honest and recommended buying a new fridge instead of having to, as he so aptly put it, "replace the heart of an 85-year-old man." Such candor and thoughtfulness was much appreciated. He also gave useful advice about future maintenance and the reliable brands he would trust for purchase and longevity.
This is a trustworthy business, in my humble opinion.

He was careful and diligent diagnosing and repairing our tricky fridge.
Nothing was done and we were charged $85 for it. We were asked to give a detailed description of the refrigerator and what was wrong with it. This gave us the impression that the technician would be bringing parts, as we also had to set aside a whole afternoon for this. A technician came out and basically said "Yeah, it's not working". Apparently we will be receiving an estimate at some point.
