  I’m really not happy this time. I told you the error code, sent a picture of the setup showing a stacked set, and scheduled two weeks ahead , but you didn’t have the tech properly prepared to actually Fix my dryer today. I expected two people to come with the possible needed parts today. Today was a total waste of everyone’s time and my patience. I have had your service in my last home also with a stacked set and you didn’t handle it this way before. If this was only going to be a consultation call, you should have told me that.

  He diagnosed my convertible refrigerator/freezer quickly on the previous visit. Today replaced the broken fan and it’s working. What more can anyone ask for. Patric the service technician was very very nice. In the future I will always call The fix it guy team for any repairs and always recommend you to my family friends and neighbors. Thank you so much for being there.

  Eric, the technician from The Fix It Guy Appliance Repair was on time and quickly diagnosed the problems with our fridge/freezer and washer. I also appreciiated that the time confirmation text included a photo of the technician. That's a nice bonus from a safety perspective.

  1) Lack of trust / integrity: Never spoke with technician - technician implemented "work solution" without authorization which "requiring authorization" was in writing by their own Company to the technician.
  
  2) Not to code / LIABILITY: Technician used an extension cord as the "solution" - which is a code violation and fire hazard, among other things in the City of Chicago.
  
  They're not simply a waste of money, they'll cost you resources - finding someone to fix their work, filing complaints with IL Attorney General, documenting and quickly fixing code violations but more importantly,
  they'll open you up to massive liability as a landlord, as a property manager and worse, someone could be harmed / get hurt, hence why codes exist.
  
  Amateurs, unprofessional - at the very minimum.
