My side by side refrigerator ice maker water line sprung a leak so I contacted Fix It Guy Chicago. I was able to make an online appointment and was in constant contact with them about timing and the details of my issue. David , the technician , showed up early in the designated time slot. He was professional and worked systematically to find the leak in the line. He repaired the leak and gave me good instructions on how to monitor and care for the troublesome location of the line. I was also very impressed with David’s patience, as he had to work in my very small kitchen which was in the process of being painted.

Fridge water dispenser works well again with no leaks. He was professional and worked quickly. I feel like the price of labor was comparable to other appliance repairs companies. Go with this company of you need any appliance repair. They are quick to respond and easy to work with.

Well so far cane once gave estimate and diagnosed to then take 3days get part then when installing part 4day later said was a hose and a gasket needed repairs so why didn’t they tell me that when doing original diagnosis….now waiting for new estimate and still waiting for repairs..guy was nice guy but they should be able to like a car hook up a machine that give error codes and then give correct estimate 1st time.. to avoid the frustration and seemed a little unprofessional for the amount they are charging however they are supposed to send new estimate today so we will see because I asked the repair man just for a eyeablr estimate because machine it’s self was only 980 and if repairs to high w just consider getting new machine he then said bag it’s should be in the 300-400 ranges which it was until he then noticed other things that missed in 1st diagnosis 🙄will update once get next estimate and service hopefully dont bump up estimate to where wouldn’t make sense to repair
