Paid $85 for a “diagnosis” that lasted about 3 minutes.
Before the tech even started, I told him the dryer was showing a vent restriction and that the vent was clogged. He essentially confirmed exactly what I had already told him, then informed me that they don’t clean dryer vents and left.
That was especially frustrating because their Instagram content specifically promotes dryer vent cleaning. Apparently their social media is advertising services their technicians don’t actually provide.
I ended up clearing the vent myself, and the dryer is now working perfectly.
$85 to confirm the problem I already identified, provide no repair, and leave a few minutes later. Would absolutely not recommend.

I've used Fix It Guy Appliance Repair a few times, and they've been outstanding every time. Eric has been to my home for each repair and is always knowledgeable, professional, and honest. They scheduled next-day service, and because the office asked for detailed information and photos beforehand, Eric arrived with the right part and diagnosed the issue in under 10 minutes. The full visit was completed in about 40 minutes, and my old Maytag dryer now works like brand new. Highly recommended!
Upright freezer was not not freezing like it should. Reggie knew exactly what to do to get the freezer started again. Great Job.
