We are delighted with our new stove, it took a lot of repair work to our chimney to install it and the entire job was very professional. Highly recommended
Wow! What fantastic service. Adam sorted out my gas fire, he was so genuine, professional and takes pride in his work.
I would recommend him and his company to everyone. Don’t often leave reviews but on this occasion well deserved.
Adrian and his team installed a fantastic log burner for us and remedial work on our chimney stack in our new home. From start to finish the service was professional. Highly recommend and will be using again for further works in future
If Carlsberg did log burners…
Great service from Adam and his team. Super job, explained everything really clearly and they were really nice in speaking to my 11yo too. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
I wanted a solid wood fuel stove replaced by a gas fuelled stove in my living room, plus whatever measures were needed to seal off smoke from next door, seagulls, rain and wind. Fireshop 1066 were recommended to me by a friend of a friend. Although it took some time, because of the demand in Hastings, for the work to be scheduled, I am really happy with the process and outcome. The original assessment was clear and unhurried, and Adrian offered to – and did, on a different occasion when he was passing – speak to my neighbours about ramifications for them. I was quite nervous and ignorant on fires and chimneys, and relieved that this first meeting turned out to be so reassuring! As another reviewer said, the ‘can do’ attitude is unusual and so refreshing. The suggested plan was flexible, so I got the styling and the stove I liked, and because the team are so competent and experienced, there were no major setbacks even though the chimney was not entirely easy to access.
The job took place as planned well within the time anticipated, and it was a pleasure to have Adam and Conor in the house. What lovely people. While testing the gas supply for the stove, Adam discovered a gas leak near the cooker and replaced the valve for me. Great attention to detail and commitment to doing a fine job. I highly recommend Fireshop 1066: such nice people to do business with!
Thanks to Adrian and all the team for a very professional job. From the initial enquiry to the fitting of the wood burner everyone at the Fire Shop has been a pleasure to deal with -have already recommended you to neighbours!
From the moment The Fire Shop talked to me about the various wood stoves they offer, to completing installation, the advice, service and professionalism has been second to none. The team, led by Adam, who is a diamond, went the extra mile to solve unforeseen problems in a thorough and careful manner. No cutting corners. Thank you Fire Shop. Just brilliant!
Thank you to Adam and the team for a wonderful job. New wood burner and finished with tile backdrop. The consideration to detail was second to none. Tidied up after finishing the job. Would highly recommend The Fire Shop.
The Fire Shop were so helpful when I visited their shop. i was given loads of advice on log burners and nothing was to much trouble. The heating engineer and fitters were lovely, covered furniture and the floor with dust sheets. my log burner looks stunning, so pleased with it. I would definitely recommend this company.

I was recommended The Fire Shop via a friend and having got them to quote and a few others they came out as averagely priced. They fitted the stove including completing all the work on the dates they quoted. They were polite clean and fabulously tidy. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Do not go anywhere else!!!!
