Call Bobby and he will take care of your problem. I got return call right away. Explained the problem and that same day he called me back with cost of part, time to order and scheduled the appointment. Confirmed the time and date and showed when expected and fixed the problem. Friendly and professional. I will use again if needed and would recommend.

Easy to make an appointment, they arrived on time, they were efficient and effective at completing our oven repair. Price was fair for work completed. I would definitely go to the fix it guy for other repairs.

I called them when my fridge started acting clunky. Patric cleaned out everything, and we thought that would be it. Nope. A fan started going out. He came back, tried to fix it, but we had to get a new fan (seriously, this thing sounded like it was trying to kill the rest of my refrigerator or take off for flight or something). They did everything as quick as humanly possible to get the part and install it and answered my numerous anxiety driven phone calls about it. Highly recommended.
In my new condo there is an older fridge. The evaporator fan has been making noises. After some unsuccessful attempts to fix it myself, I reached out to The Fix-It Guy and spoke with Bobby. Bobby was about as helpful and honest as they come.
He told me what was likely wrong and estimated the cost over the phone. He also said if the fridge was old enough, I shouldn't bother trying to get it fixed because more problems will happen soon. I wasn't sure of the age so he looked it up for me (it was 14 years old). He then said he wouldn't advise fixing the fridge given the age/cost of repair versus cost of a new fridge. Basically he talked himself out of a service call/sale. But the honesty he displayed will have me calling them back when I have an issue in the future. It strikes me as rare that a company would do this but it is refreshing and instills confidence.
Further, he said I might not want to stock up on too much food since the fridge could last a year or a week and the cost I might lose in replacing the food could offset the money saved waiting to buy a new fridge. I asked if I should replace it now and he said it wasn't possible to say how long it would live but recommended a few brands and that I read the manual and keep up maintenance so my new fridge works. All that for no $$. To me, that deserves 5 stars.
